A Citizenship by Investment programme is offered by a nation’s government and is commonly called economic citizenship or CIP. By making an investment in an approved real estate project, the investor may be eligible for citizenship in that country. This citizenship provides flexibility, mobility and security. By obtaining a second citizenship, and a second passport, the investor and his/her family has more options and freedom to travel.
To qualify for the Citizenship by Investment programme, you need to make an investment in a designated real estate project approved by the Government of Grenada, such as Six Senses La Sagesse, Grenada. In addition, you need to pay other fees and taxes as applicable and comply with stringent requirements as determined by the government.
Yes, your family members can be included into a citizenship application. Siblings (unmarried and without children) of the main applicant and his spouse, children below the age of 30 (there is no educational requirement), and parents (there is no financial dependency requirement) can also be added to the application.
From the date of submission of your application, government approvals and processing will take between 90 to 120 days to complete.
The requirement of an interview has been abolished and applicants do not need to visit or live in Grenada in order to avail the benefits of Grenadian citizenship.
The passport is valid for 5 years and easily renewed thereafter.
